Research and the Book
Michelle Langley
---------------------------------------
My Take
Research shows bias in Women-defenders.
We men have been and still are being discriminated by everyone from religious leaders to politicians; and, worse by the courts of divorce. Professional preachers, especially tell-evangelists, and the media, have been the enemies of the male gender, in top of what we suffer at home. Now, research by a women, brings more light to the nature of women.
Will the bigots repent? I doubt it. That is how they keep themselves from sleeping in the doghouse. By blaming other men for domestic violence, they show their oppressive wives that they are OK; such men have joined the feminist movement in male-bashing.
Bigots have always known the truth; but they did not have much evidence thrown at
them. Thus, biased people kept their crusade. If any man brought up evidence to show that women are culprits of domestic disharmony just like men and sometimes worse, those men who brought evidence, were chided and belittled even by other man; especially those in leadership positions, who benefit from numbers in population.
I had to prove my take on a journalism class in the University of Massachusetts in 1993. After being told that I “was going against the grain”. My bibliography was not enough. I was invited to bring in the research books and professional magazines. I did not see such requirements from other students’ research. I was the only-one who had to bring in the evidence—I am a man; and I was writing about equality on domestic violence.
In that research, I found that married, men have a greater chance of getting killed by their own wives, by 10%; I was threatened my “Ex-wife” while married. Also, I found that women start most of the violence at home. That complimented my own marriage that was in the midst of a divorce. The violent spouse got custody of the children, even after the judge knew that mom (My “EX”), had bitten our four year old daughter in the face.
The book in reference that lead me to write this piece, appears to be obscure to me. I did not yet read the book. I did not see any news about the topic; but the info in the add-info gives enough to know what is in the book. Granted, I sometimes go a few days without checking the news on the WEB; but, I normally surf the news.
However, I have about half dozed of main media publishers, sending me daily headlines. So, this info does not qualify for headlines. Well, it appears to be because the book exposes “women as being like or worse than men”. The major media appears to have disregarded the great book – it exposes feminism’s distortion. I bumped into the book Women's Infidelity by Michelle Langley, in a Google’s ad.

If You Desire to Know the Truth (Hinckley)
Posted July 30, 2011
-----------------------------------------------------------------
My Take
-----------
It is All Based on Deciding
Though, the message by Hinckley may appear as a dream or as a wish, it is not. I can testify to the simplicity of it. I mean simplicity. Having the desire to know the truth about what makes life being what it is. Also, having the desire to understand that from the material perspective it is impossible to learn about spirit. Such understanding is the key to understanding the spiritual answer that lies within each of us; but, can be reached only by following the simplicity of life like the prophets of old—focused on God.
My own experience sums to a few things mentioned by Hinckley. First, having the desire to know more. Second, being sincere about the intentions for searching. Third, being sincere to allow room for change as the evidence is discovered. Forth, being firm on the knowledge received. And, fifth, as it was said before by Hinckley, paraphrasing “The decision is only made once.” In other words, once a person decides on what the evidence a person gets from God, that stays firm.
All clues are in the bible. Evidence can be: On what made the prophets of old have access to God’s information. If we use the prophets of old as a measuring rod, then, we need to understand how those prophets lived.
Being ready to leave the material desires behind, is next on the line. Jesus Himself, had the same needs as we have. According to the Gospel he was a man like each of us—as I see it. But Jesus’ priorities were on doing the will of Him who sent Him—The Father. If we too try to do the will of God, we too can be like He was and is. Jesus said so.
There is not secret about it, there is only the desire. Once we have a sincere desire to be better that what we are, we automatically are able to see greater spiritual things. The path of growth continues until we allow ourselves to get entangled with negativity such as hate, lack of understand to forgive, and greed, and arrogance, and physical distractions such as lust. The change is called repentance—condemning the act, while knowing that Jesus already paid for it; and strive to avoid doing it again.
To be more specific, the rules is easy: Would I do it if I was in the presence of God?
Did the prophets or Jesus ever do this? Is it in the commandments? Or, like Jesus said in His greatest decision, “Not my will, Father, by thy will be done.” When we deny ourselves, we are ready to receive greater knowledge. And when we get it, we will also learn that greater knowledge is at hand. As Jesus said, “All that my Father has is theirs”.
I am not a prophet, nor claim to be. Rather, I am a sinner who has tried to learn; and I have made many changes on my life at great sacrifices in order to learn more about God. Such changes came as I learned about what a few things are in the bible, by studying it. Though I am a poor man, I feel peace within me, even in the face of worldly conditions as we all have to face. It is part our learning process, deciding based on what we have learned.

Savers desert stock market amid fears of another global recession

My Take
So, the experts are predicting more misery. What is wrong with the world getting more poor people. We the poor are the majority. After all, it is only money, and even that, it is only money earned on the markets—not real money. And, what is wrong with being poor?
Those who become poor because of the stock market and because of other gambling strategies, will have more respect for the majority of the world’s population, whom they despise. As my father use to say: “By keeping on tightening the guitar’s strings, the tuner will end up pupping the strings”.
We never hear the investor’s complain when they rake in filthy lucre. They call it success to rise above their peers. But when they fall; oh, well, they just join the majority.
On the other hand, who wants to be the minority? Only the rich and the gentile, and those of noble birth, and the affluent, and those who are affluent regardless of ethnic lineage, they want to be the ruling minority.
Well, welcome to the real world of eating “by the sweat of your brow”. Oops, I forgot, those affluent and rich people are not supposed to work for a living, nor associate with those who labor with their hands (From Charles Dickens).

Cheap Writing About Momons

The Reluctant Mormon
By TIMOTHY EGAN
----------------------------
My take
Shame on bigotry; TIMOTHY EGAN and some of this article’s commentators should be ashamed of themselves, for exploiting the bigotry trail that suits too many anti-Mormon Americans. If the article was about a Catholic would Egan be bringing out the inquisition. Even if the truth is mentioned, the tone and the implication is what is bias.
While a few Mormon leaders had multiple wives and lived with duty and honesty to each, the secular leaders of this country had and still have concubines or Mistresses—using euphemism for dishonesty and wife cheating and abusing the mistresses. For, such activity is only on the man’s side; but that seems OK to the Mormon haters, and it is never mentioned. Could it be coincidential? I do not believe so.
Why don’t these writers use the same tone for the adultery among the Kennedys and other people of influence? What Egan and other anti-Mormon writers do is exploiting the Mormon issue as if it was unique; but ink is cheap, and another article needs to be published. So, why not at the Mormons’ expense. If people today cold have multiple spouses—for they do have multiple spouses; but it is in an abusive method—“extra-marital affairs”; women would have more self-respect; and honesty would be required.
Nevertheless, today adultery is treated as a normal phase of life. Are any laws passed or enforced on the issue of adultery? I have not heard of it. But when the Mormons had multiple wives by agreement with consideration and respect to all parties, it was outlawed; and it is still treated with disdain. Where is logic? Where is the respect and liberty of the people? Where is the constitutional guaranty of “…happiness for all”? as it is mentioned when we pledge to the flag? A secret-girlfriend (or concubine), is no more than a sex slave. But no one touched nor touches the issue, because it is common among people of diversified religions and secular people. But, Adultery is kind of rare among Mormons. So, who are the abusers?
Yes, Mormons do believe in pre-existence; but is in the bile. Now, which parts of the bible are not convenient to professional preachers? Anyone who deeply studies the bible will see that Mormons do not believe on anything that is not on the bible. Did not Jesus state that those who follow him would be like Him? Some of these ministers better start reading the bible in search of what is there, rather than reading it in search of how they can please their congregation to guaranty another pay check.

Drug Control? These Intellectuals are Crazy

Major International Leaders Plead for the US and the World to Get Smart and Stop the War on Drugs

My Take
Drug Control? These Intellectuals are Crazy
Of course these Intellectuals are not discovering anything new. They are just looking at the history of the USA and seeing that last century’s US decision to end prohibition and start regulation both saved lives and increased taxes for the US Treasure.
To repeat the same about drugs other than alcohol would be another great way to overcome drug crime and paralyze drug cartels. That is logic.
However there is the capitalism logic of the so called police and lawyers and lawmakers who make a living from the drug crime. If drugs are legalized and thus controlled, most cops making around $100,000 would have to work for a living. Many trial lawyers and prosecutors would be in the unemployment lines; or actually on the crime business as direct participants.
A few years ago while serving on a Grand-Jury, most of the activity was about drugs. Can you see judges without a job? The Jail business as third party enforcers, would be without much of the revenue from those contracts, and from the dirty money of about $5 per phone minute that the inmates pay for phone calls.
The Intellectuals proposing regulation over criminalization are not looking at the economic downturn of the US in an already super fragile economy. They forgot that in the capitalist system it is not what is right that counts; but, rather what brings in the money is what counts—unless the public standup to the crooked lawmakers of course.
Regulation over criminalization would also hamper the US government abuse in the controlling of money-flow. There would not be another good reason to control money transactions to $10,000. The population of the world would be free--that is against the core of the capitalist system.
The tight control of the money supply and knowing where the money is, is what keeps capitalist in power. Once there is cash freedom, there will be the end of capitalism as we know it.
Can we imagine the lives save by no accidental overdoses, because cocaine and other mood affecting drugs would be quality controlled. The user would know precisely the limits; deaths from over-doses would be greatly decreased. Because over-doses normally occur when a different drug supplier sells a drug that is more pure-thus more potent than what the user normally takes.
Drugs are as evil as alcohol and tobacco are evil, therefore they should be controlled for the public’s safety.
The big question remains: Would Bill Clinton rephrase his statement from “I didn’t inhale” to “I didn’t overdose?” Better yet, would Hillary Clinton say: “I used it with moderation?”

How to Fix Greece
By VITO J. RACANELLI | MORE ARTICLES BY AUTHOR
It's time for the devastated nation to face reality. The only way out is to restructure now, with bondholders taking a 50% hit.
______________
My Take
What’s the big deal? The greedy were not crying and whining when they reaped filthy profits. Every time the gambler starts a new dealing he/she knows that there are some loosing probabilities; but they know what is in their sleeves—that extra small writing with specific rules favoring the dealer. As every bank has them—like the MAFIA, but legally.
However since the deck is tilted in bankers’ favor, who cares if they loos one hand? this is just one lost hand; they can count plenty of winning hands. Sucker gamblers—the addicted and those who gamble just as a habit like the Greeks, the Portuguese and the Irish will come back for more. Even if the bondholders get a big loss this time, overall they are still winning.
They will make up for it in the future as their deck and their dealing keeps on providing them with more wealth, which appears as luck; but, in reality it is proven as cleverness.
If we look at bankers it the United States, we see that their problems just helped them in becoming stronger. Bankers who lost, lost only paper money. It was just part of their gabling booty.
It is just like sitting on the evening with $50 bucks when sitting for the first deal, and then by midnight having a few thousand dollars in winnings; and then, by morning losing most of that money that was won; and only having a few hundred dollars left.
That gambler did not loose anything. If fact that gambler is still winning a few hundred dollars, for she/he only started with fifty; but, now she/he still has his original $50 dollars plus a few hundred more. His/her loosing was only from the booty, not actual loosing from the start.
On the following night them pros, as the bankers and financiers are, who live off the addicted players, will get plenty of profits to offset what they lost on the previous night.
However, during such wining streaks, the capitalists call it prosperity. Even the addicted gambler calls it progress, because she/he did not lose his/her soul to the devil at this time, they just kept working to pay that interest. Such interest they could have kept, if they would live within their means; thus, without borrowing. But, even though loosing, the addicted gamblers find comfort by being in the company of those whom they see as better and richer than they are.
